This painting is part of my popular ACEO series which are now mounted in 8" x 10" mats with backing board and packaged in an archival bag. My small paintings have always sold well as gifts and now with the new packaging, they are perfect for mailing to distant friends.
This painting sold at my local public art gallery, LAKE COUNTRY ART GALLERY, where the members have a small gift shop. The shop is run by the members and the work on display is that of the volunteers. The shop used to be inside the ART HOUSE, in a separate building where artists have their studios, but at the end of last year it moved into it's own dedicated space in an annex of the gallery and right next door to the very popular LAKE COUNTRY COFFEE HOUSE.
I recently had a very successful exhibition in the Coffee House and it's nice that regular customers who were introduced to my work via the exhibition can pop next door to pick up an art card and a small painting for a gift.
