Today is the last day of Hanukkah. I always love the design of the Menorah and they look even better with the final candle glowing and lighting up the faces of those around it. This painting can be hung on the wall or suspended on a ribbon because the back is painted the same beautiful indigo blue and turquoise as the front. The menorah itself has many kinds of iridescent and interference paint, so it glows in candle light. I'm afraid these are not good photos, one being a bit indistinct and the second taken with a flash to show the shine on the menorah and flames, but a flash darkens the lovely indigo background. I will post a better one tomorrow evening.
