Its beginning to look a lot like U100

Yup its that time of year again. It’s hard to believe. My work has been selected to show for something like the tenth year. The gallery has formulated some out of the box ideas on how to proceed during Covid and still make it an exciting event. As one of the artists, I’ve also come up with interesting art with my usual creativity, that will spark conversation and hopefully cause a sell out. More on that closer to the event (they are still in progress).

This year the usually very social opening events have a Covid twist, which I predict will result in buyers feeling more relaxed and ready to buy the more unusual pieces before anyone else has a chance. Groups of eight invited and ticketed guests will have private showings pre-opening. during the private showings the  big names will likely be snapped up first, as there are no refills, so no waiting for another gem to surface. I hope the innovative strategies will result in an even larger fundraising total to keep the gallery running another year.
