DAY 29 of 30 - HEAVENLY SKY

HEAVENLY SKY by Sea Dean 4 x 6 inch solid  wood block

I’ve painted the northern lights before and its not easy. This painting however, came together quickly. The northern lights are double layered with opaque paint underneath and iridescent paint on top. There are three iridescents, Pebeo iridescent blue black, iridescent purple, and Stevenson interference green. Because most of the painting has the iridescent/interference paints, you never see the same colours twice.

    You are the one who taught me about those interference paints Sea. I sooo want to try them. I bet this looks amazing in person! Love it :)
