This is a regular photo sized painting, so it is very easy to find an inexpensive frame. No mat is required because it is on canvas panel, so you can pop it in the frame and gift wrap it very quickly. This size is often termed POSTCARD and sometimes they are painted on water colour paper with a place for an address etc. printed on the back. I'm not sure I would mail an original that way though. OSWOA is another term for paintings of this precise size; it simply stands for ORIGINAL SMALL WORK OF ART.
