For a theme I've chosen abstract expressionist/impressionist explorations but I'm making a departure today because I needed to paint some still life paintings for display in a local gift shop.
"Grape II" is finished with Cold Wax, Brushstrokes and Gamvar, museum quality varnish which really makes the grapes look 3D. When it gets close to picking time the grape leaves tend to curl and go brown. This is what I was aiming for in this painting.
