ALISA BURKE
Alisa creates a fun blog to follow if you enjoy artistic play with your kids or grand kids. Here is her free coloring page which you can print and color for valentines. Alisa's little girl is so lucky to have a Mum that has figured out how to make her doodles into a profitable business. She is also a wonderful photographer with beautiful inspiring photographs of the Pacific North West.
FREE COLORING PAGE
I would suggest the page can be colored, cut into small oblongs (each with at least one heart) and glued onto card stock to create little valentines for their friends. A piece of standard card 24" x 28" can be cut into eight 10" x 7" pieces (to create eight 5" x 7" folded cards) and four 4" x 7" pieces (to create four 4" x 3.5" folded cards). Show them how to fold the card and write the greeting inside before they do the gluing and decoration, because sometimes the concept of the front being on the back of the left side and the greeting being on the front of the right side is a bit complicated.
I don't have access to a printer, so I just roughly followed the design in paint and outlined in black paint pen.
