I really wanted to do a cloud study and as much as I like cloud paintings, I always think there should be a bit of land for context. This turned into an Okanagan View. I’ve called it Two Pines. it’s important to leave white areas in watercolor paintings, or they get too dark. I think with this one I got the balance just right.
