The eye of the beholder

I came across this article when doing some research for my upcoming solo. Leaving aside all the feminist comments, I was facinated by the differing ideas of beauty. According to this and taking my body type into account, I should be packing my bags and moving to any of the latin countries. Where would you be considered beautiful?



Why I find this so fascinating as an artist is that it proves there is no right or wrong. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. The same can be held true in regards to art. So whatever feels good to you go ahead and do it, there is a buyer out there for every piece of art.

    I'll go with you Sea, LOL. There was a movie in the early 80's, Looker, that was about models having their faces altered to fit perfect measurements. There was a murder plot too I think. Isn't it funny, and sad, that all these years later, perfection is still the most desired? Beautiful views Sea :) Enjoy!
