Into the Light



OK, I retouched the bits that I thought were drawing the eye to the edge. Now I have two other concerns but I dont want to overwork it.

1. the green swirls top right look like a person. Does that add or detract?
2. the orange line bottom right to corner left, does it take the eye too fast off the edge of painting?

    Hi Sea,
    Interesting painting and I like it a lot.
    The bottom doesn't bother me at all nor does the 'person' squiggle - something for the viewer to ponder. I'd consider making the top green mark a red or dark red as at the moment my eye rests there. and doesn't move back into the painting. Kudos for going so large, I'd love to see it IRL.

    Neither of those bother me at all. Maybe add a touch of green somewhere else, on the other half of the canvas. I do like the green, as it is different from all the other colors. Look forward to seeing what you decide :)
