I love peonies,
they are so luscious and feminine, especially the pink ones. What better
gift for Mother's Day? Which brings me to a point. Every country in the
world has a different day especially for mothers,how wierd is that?
Don't you think they should standardize it? I have to remember mother's
in the USA, Canada, Australia, Central and South America and England,
many with different days. Phew! But I think at least Australia and England celebrate it in May.

Thank you Nora and welcome. I think an interesting thing to do is paint peonies once a year to check progress as a painter. They must be one of the toughest flowers to depict.
