This is another in the popular Mouse Series. This little country mouse is from Series II. What a lucky little mouse to spend the day picking flowers and basking in country sunshine. I can smell the scent of wildflowers and fresh mown hay.
All country children have done this at some time in their lives and if you now live in the city this is a reminder of simpler times. A daisy chain and a posy of wild flowers are this little mouse's accessories.
Although it's not very visible in these images, there are golden highlights in the grass and on the flowers which give a special touch under lights.
If you're wondering, this little painting fits the dimension requirements for an iPhone without having to crop.
