This is one of those difficult paintings to photograph because of the interference paint which shines pink or violet or hardly shows at all depending on the light. A few weeks ago there was a spectacular Aurora Borealis display in my valley and that gave me the idea for interference paint. To my eye this image looks a little dark but the painting is quite bright and fresh in person. It is probably a painting which will sell better in one of my bricks and mortar galleries, but it is available online at present.
