Only four letters, a very short and insignificanf little word if you don’t bring along the cartload of interpretations and meanings the world has heaped upon it since mankind invented the English language.
When I chose to talk about love, the phrase that kept running through my head was from Paul’s letters to the Corinthians 13:13
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
... but English language speakers cant even agree on this famous quote. As you can see here, from 60 different bible versions of Pauls message, many interpret the original word as charity and the Orthodox Jewish Bible insists on ahavah. In other words (no pun intended) you have to figure it out for youself:)
Possibly that is the meaning of life! Why we exist. The theme of our story. Be the best you. Work hard to live with integrity. And above all LOVE. if you stay focused on love, no evil can live within. It is the ultimate anti-biotic, anti-micobial, anti-psychotic medicine.
